NALGONDA: Three persons were killed on the spot while four others severely injured in a ghastly road accident that occurred on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway 65 in Nalgonda district in the early hours of Sunday. The mishap happened after a car the victims were travelling in overturned at Erasani Gudem on the outskirts of Kattanguru.

The deceased were identified as MD Iddak (21), SK Sameer (21) and SK Yasin (18), all residents of Khammam district.

The fatal accident took place while they were returning to Khammam after attending a Walima function in Hyderabad. The injured were shifted to Kamineni Hospital in Narkatpally for treatment.
