RAJENDRANAGAR: In an ignominious turn of events, seven computers were stolen from the high-security National Police Academy in Rajendra Nagar of Hyderabad.

Despite high security at the academy where the IPS probationers are trained, the computers were stolen in a meticulously planned theft. The NPA officials, who scrutinised the CCTV footage for evidence, suspect the involvement of one Chandrasekhar, working in the IT department of the academy, in the theft.

The NPA officials lodged a complaint at the Rajendranagar Police Station in this connection. The police registered a case and are investigating it further.
