HYDERABAD: Praveen Chikoti, the casino king who is under the Enforcement Directorate's radar for violation of the regulations of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and hawala transactions, on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the Cyber Crime police. He alleged in his complaint that fake social media accounts were being created in his name.

Praveen said that he was under stress as a consequence of people creating fake accounts in an apparent attempt to defame him. He asked the police to identify and arrest the creators of the fake accounts.

Meanwhile, Chikoti was questioned by the ED for about 11 hours on Tuesday over the alleged hawala transactions. He was also quizzed about the possible involvement of celebrities, people's representatives, businessmen and other VIPs in these illegal foreign transactions. The ED was also reported to have issued summons to a few celebrities and VVIPs for questioning based on inputs given by Praveen.
