The expanded facility is one of the several forms of help being provided to the cyber crimes wing. Further, the Commissioner urged the citizens/netizens to exercise caution regarding the looming cyber crimes, which were sharply on the rise. He also said that many young people and women were increasingly falling victim to cybercrimes and losing their hard-earned money by falling into the traps of the cyber fraudsters.

He further advised the general public not to download any "loan apps" from the internet that could cause them to lose both money. He also advised them not to fall for any fake lottery messages, gift offers, online crypto currency investment schemes, etc. that they might receive through "Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram and Telegram accounts strictly."

He invited youngsters to participate in training sessions for a unique programme he created called "Cyber Yodha" in order to educate them about current cybercrimes and raise awareness in their individual societies.
