Heist in 2 temples on same night in Guntur

GUNTUR: In a series of unusual and atheistic robberies, two temples in Guntur district were robbed on the same night – The Lord Brahma temple and Lord Ram temple in Penumaka of Tadepalli mandal, were robbed in the late hours of Sunday.

Lord Ram temple Chairman Mannam Appaji lodged a complaint at the Tadepalli police station after which the police turned towards checking the CCTVs.

They identified the thief of Lord Rama temple, who appeared to be the same person who robbed a Sai Baba temple. The police suspected that the robberies were done by a same gang which was targeting temples.

Further investigation is underway to hunt down this gang.
