House broken in, woman assaulted in Alwal

HYDERABAD: A woman was assaulted by unidentified persons who broke into the house at Alwal Hills Road No 2.

The woman, identified as Kausalya Chowdhary, was hit with a rod by the miscreants. She was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city, her husband Ramesh Chowdary said.

Alwal Police registered a case and were investigating the incident. They said that it appeared to be a case of past rivalry.
