Hyderabad doctor arrested for drug-peddling; Rs 12 lakh worth MDMA, Ketamine siezed

HYDERABAD: The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone team of Hyderabad police apprehended one interstate drug peddler, who was found in possession of Narcotic substance MDMA and Ketamine. They seized 53 grams of MDMA and 850 grams of Ketamine, all worth Rs 12,32,000.

According to the report, Mohd Shabeer Ali (48) who was a doctor working at Perfect Dental & Pile Clinic in Chandrayangutta was unhappy with the money he was making and wanted to earn easy money. He planned on selling the drugs through his clinic. He reportedly purchased those drugs from Kaku, who hailed from Orissa and Shiva, who hailed from Chennai. Both of these suppliers were currently absconding.

On a tip off, the police raided the clinic and arrested the accused. They also seized all the narcotic substances. Mohd Shabeer Ali and the seized material was handed over to SHO, Chandrayangutta for further action.
