VIJAYAWADA: In a tragic incident that happened in Vijayawada, a police officer's wife died by suicide after an argument with her husband.

Reportedly, Jyoti (34) and her husband CID Circle -Inspector in Rajamahendravaram Chandrasekhar had an argument on Monday afternoon over giving food to their three children, after which the officer left the home hastily.

Jyothi locked herself in her room, and their tense children started knocking on the door. Chandrashekhar, who rushed home after receiving a call from the children, came home to his wife hanging from the ceiling.

The Vijayawada police registered a case and are further investigating the matter.
