Man dies by suicide after killing wife in Medchal District

HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar here, a man killed his wife by slitting her throat before hanging himself to death at their house due to family disputes. The incident occurred under Jawahar Nagar Police Station limits in Medchal District.

Banda Raju (35) was an auto-rickshaw driver by profession and his wife Kavitha (33) was a housewife. It is suspected that Banda Raju had resorted to this extreme step as a fallout of disputes within the family. The police, who were informed by the neighbours, were in the process of ascertaining the facts of the case.
