HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP Naama Nageswara Rao's son Prithvi Teja suffered a nightmarish experience at the hands of two miscreants near Toli Chowki here on Sunday night. He was robbed of Rs 75,000 at knife point after he was made to drive around the city by the two unidentified men.

The shocking incident occurred when Prithvi Teja was returning home from a shopping mall. Prithvi was taken by surprise when the two men forcibly entered his car. Before he realized what was happening, he was made to drive around the city until they found an isolated place in Panjagutta.

Then, they threatened Prithvi with a knife and forced him to transfer an amount of Rs 75,000 online. After the horrifying incident, Prithvi lodged a complaint with the Panjagutta police. The police are on the lookout for the two robbers. The incident, while causing consternation locally, also raises concerns on the safety of the common man when an MP's son could be so easily robbed well within the city.
