AI software ChatGPT calls ‘Biryani’ a tiffin, Satya Nadella says don’t insult Hyderabadis

HYDERABAD: ChatGPT, an AI- enabled software and a chat bot, when asked to name a few famous South Indian tiffins, smartly displayed a list starting with idli, vada and dosa. However, CEO of Microsoft Satya Nadella noticed the list included Hyderabadi biryani and immediately asked the chat-bot to apologise.

He also said, “Don’t insult Hyderabadis by calling biryani a tiffin.”

After this little banter between the chat-bot and Satya Nadella, he asked the AI bot to stage a play between idli and dosa, the plot being the two tiffins fighting over which was better.

Hyderabad-born Nadella was speaking at the Future Ready Technology Summit in Bengaluru and introduced the crowd to a light-hearted ChatGPT conversation before getting into his presentation about the AI and Cloud innovation taking place in India.
