The Minister visited the 30 other women who were being treated at Jubilee Hills Apollo and NIMS hospital on Wednesday. He said that the women were getting free treatment at the hospitals and that the health of the women was improving. The doctors said they would be discharged in 2-3 days. The four women are said to have died of infection after the operation.

Harish Rao also said that the matter was being investigated and serious action would be taken once a report was received and the reason for the mishap was found.

He also said that it was wrong for the opposition parties to use this as propaganda and rush to the hospital to defame the government. He said that the government had started working on the issue immediately and were doing everything to prevent such issues from happening.
