Father-son duo brutally murdered by unknown assailants in Uppal

HYDERABAD: A father and son were brutally murdered at their residence near Gandhi statue of Uppal area in Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.

According to the information, the unknown assailants barged into their house on Friday morning at 5.30 and murdered Narasimha, 78, and his son Srinivas, 35, who tried to rescue his father.

Upon receiving the information, the Uppal police along with the CLUES team reached the spot to ascertain the details of the murder. They found that the assailants, wearing a masks, entered the house and killed the father-duo with sharp weapons.

Reportedly, the assailant threatened the maid also at 5.30 am.

The Uppal police, who have registered a murder case, formed special teams to carry out search operations for the accused. The bodies were shifted to a Government hospital for post-mortem.

The locals expressed grief over the brutal murder of the duo and said that they had a cordial relationship with everyone in the area.
