Hyderabad eyes best rank as ease of living survey begins

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad aspires to grab the best rank as an online survey is being conducted on the 'ease of living' as part of a nationwide 'Citizen Perception Survey 2022' to assess the living standards of the people in cities.

The initiative is being taken up under the smart city programme across the country. As per the directions of the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, a survey on ease of living is being conducted in cities with a population of more than 10 lakhs.

Citizens have to answer the questions prepared by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Development about all 17 key civic service facilities like house rent and public transport. Since the survey on standard of living has started on Thursday itself, the city dwellers can participate in the survey using the relevant QR code to get a good ranking for the city. One can also take part in it through the URL.

The survey is being conducted in eight languages. Question papers are available in Telugu, Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi and Gujarati. The participants should ensure that they select their state and city (Telangana and Hyderabad) correctly.

The GHMC, in a press release, requested the citizens of Hyderabad to participate in the ease of living survey in more numbers to put 'Greater Hyderabad' in the forefront and ensure best rank to the city they cherish.

Step 3: Enter Citizen Details and ULB/Referral code as 800935

Step 4: Select State as Telangana and Select City as Hyderabad

Step 4: Click on proceed

Step 5: Enter responses for all 17 questions and submit
