HYDERABAD: In anticipation of the upcoming T20 cricket match on September 25 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal, Hyderabad Metro Rail has taken a number of steps to ensure the comfort of passengers.

Special trains have been scheduled to depart from Stadium Metro station at 11 p.m. on September 25, with the last train leaving at 1 a.m. on September 26, 2022.

Trains will run upto Ameerpet and JBS Parade Grounds.

According to Hyderabad Metro Rail, entry is only permitted at the metro stations of Uppal, Stadium, and NGRI when special trains are in service. All other stations would only be accessible for exits.

Hyderabad Metro Rail has urged the passengers to purchase return tickets in advance or at the very least as they exit the Stadium metro station before attending the game.

Smart cards are also encouraged for ease of travel and to avoid queuing. Digital tickets will not be sold after 10:15 p.m. Existing tickets purchased before 10:15 a.m. would be valid until the close of business at Uppal, the Stadium, and NGRI only.

Passengers have been asked to cooperate with security personnel and Hyderabad Metro Rail staff in order to keep their journey safe.
