The Kothaguda flyover, which was built with a cost of Rs 263 crore, would provide a traffic-free commute to people travelling between Gachibowli, Miyapur, Financial District, Hi-Tech City and Kothaguda. The flyover has a 470-metre- long and 11-metre-wide underpass. In this, 65-m would be a long closed box and 425-m would be an open-box underpass.

It will benefit the commuters as well as surrounding residential areas. It will facilitate a traffic-jam free travel in Botanical Garden, Kothaguda and Kondapur junctions. In addition, the increase of traffic during rush hours, owing to many software companies in the area, would also be controlled.
