Nanakramguda junction renovations inaugurated

HYDERABAD : The Nanakramguda junction renovations were inaugurated on Tuesday by Special Chief Secretary MA&UD & Director Arvind Kumar. According to reports, the Police Department is enforcing one-way traffic from Nanakramguda to My Home Avatar on both sides of ORR Service Roads as part of traffic control due to the rise in traffic at Nanakramguda Junction.

The proposed solar roofed Cycle track also will commence from this junction. In order to ease traffic after village side Rotary traffic issues were noticed, a separate up ramp has been created as part of Junction renovation.

The Service Road and Toll Plaza down ramps were additionally merged. The GHMC RDP Road from Wave Rock, Amazon has also been linked with Nanakramguda crossroads for better traffic flow and management.

As part of Junction improvement, HGCL has installed various sculptures in two rotaries that correspond to the themes of the Financial District, which depicts currency symbols of important developed nations and a raging bull, and the theme of Residential Developments, which depicts a human in a relaxed pose with a calming effect.

The installation of LED screens for advertisements was permitted under the terms of the lease by HGCL in order to maintain the junction sustainably. Around 75 traffic islands will be improved in total over the next four months in the GHMC and HMDA sectors.
