Rachakonda will soon have new Maheshwaram zone

HYDERABAD: The Rachakonda police commissionerate is establishing a new police zone known as 'Maheshwaram,' which will be led by a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).
The new Maheshwaram police division would include police stations Balapur, Pahadishareef, Maheshwaram, and Kandukur, that would be led by an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) rank officer.
According to the reports, the government approved 763 different positions in the Rachakonda commissionerate, ranging from constable to Joint Commissioner Rank. A new ACP rank post was established for the Yadadiri temple division, and he will be in charge of both the temple and the Raigiri police stations.
New police stations would be built in Cherlapally, Nagole, Green Pharma City, Pocharam IT Corridor, and Uppal, as well as traffic police stations in Ghatkesar, Jawaharnagar, Maheshwaram, and Ibrahimpatnam. Balapur, Abdullapurmet, Yadadri Traffic, and Keesara police stations will be upgraded.
In order to improve coordination and traffic management, two new traffic zones, Maheshwaram and Bhongir, would be managed by DCP rank officials. The traffic wing would be managed by a Joint Commissioner of Police rank official.
