HYDERABAD: The Cyberabad Police on Thursday took into custody the three accused in the case pertaining to the sensational poaching scandal targeting four TRS MLAs at a Moinabad farmhouse recently. The accused in the case – Satish Sharma alias Ramachandra Bharti, Simhayaji and Nanda Kumar alias Nandu – were taken into police custody to proceed with further investigation into the case that caused tremors in political circles across the country. The three were shifted to the Rajendranagar Police Station, which falls within the Cyberabad Police limits.

The latest move by the Cyberabad police came following a green signal given by the Telangana High Court on Tuesday for further investigation into the case. The three accused, who allegedly tried to unsuccessfully broker a deal with four TRS MLAs to change their political loyalties to the BJP in a larger conspiracy to topple the State Government, were caught at a Moinabad farmhouse as part of an operation by the Cyberabad police last month.

The three were lodged at the Chanchalguda Central Jail following their judicial remand until they were taken into police custody on Thursday.

Meanwhile, a fresh case was also registered against Satish Sharma alias Ramachandra Bharti by the Banjara Hills Police for allegedly fabricating key documents like PAN Card and others. The case was registered, based on a complaint from Tandur MLA Pilot Rohit Reddy, one of the four TRS legislators that the three deal brokers allegedly tried to entice in the farmhouse poachgate.
