HYDERABAD: Two brothers, who hailed from Jogipet, died on the spot and several others were injured after a Bolero vehicle collided with an auto on the Nanded-Akola National Highway 161 near Thanapalli of Choutkur mandal, Sangareddy district. The deceased were identified as Farid and Irfan from Jogipet who made a living by selling rice in the Jogipet market.

According to information, the two brothers who were heading from Hyderabad's Monda market to Jogipet in an auto in the week hours of Wednesday met with a road accident after a speeding Bolero vehicle rammed into the auto.

Enraged locals caught the driver of the Bolero vehicle and tied him with ropes until police reached the spot. Police who rushed to the spot, retrieved the bodies from the auto with the help of the locals and shifted them to Jogipet Government Hospital for post-mortem.
