HYDERABAD: Private aviation group Vistara bore the brunt of netizens' anger after a bag belonging to Team India pacer Mohammed Siraj was misplaced. The Hyderabad-based cricketer took to twitter on Tuesday to share about his ordeal over the missing bag following his flight to Mumbai from Dhaka on December 26. The cricketer, who took a Vistara flight, had checked in three bags, only to find one of them missing at the end of his journey at the Mumbai airport.

The cricketer on Tuesday tweeted, "I was traveling to Mumbai from Dhaka via Delhi on December 26 on flight UK182 & UK951 respectively. I had checked in three bags out of which one has been misplaced. I was assured the bag will be found and delivered within no time but till now I have not heard anything." The pacer further said that his bag contained all of his important documents and requested the airlines to deliver the misplaced bag to Hyderabad at the earliest.

In no time, angry netizens took off on Siraj's tweet and heavily trolled the airlines for its callousness.

The airlines responding to the cricketer tweeted, "Hello Mr. Siraj, this sounds unfortunate. Please note that our staff will try its best to locate your baggage and will update you at the earliest. Request you to please share your contact number at a convenient time via DM to connect with you."

After keeping the cricketer on tenterhooks for several hours, the airlines finally appeared to have traced the missing bag, something that became evident from a latest tweet from Siraj. He tweeted, "Thank you @airvistara for finding the bag. Hoping to receive it soon in Hyd."

However, this is not the first time Vistara had come under attack for treating even celebrities with an array of unpleasant experiences. A few months ago, former cricketer Irfan Pathan had tweeted about his poor experience while traveling in the airlines. He claimed that despite having a confirmed reservation, he was forced to wait at the counter as the airlines had downgraded his ticket class.
