Woman jumps off Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge in suicide bid

HYDERABAD: Commuters and people around the Durgam Cheruvu cable bridge were left in shock after seeing a young woman jumping off the bridge and into the lake in an apparent suicide bid on Wednesday.

The unidentified woman jumped off the bridge into Durgam Cheruvu on Wednesday afternoon. The lake police were involved in search operations and when reports last came in, she was still untraceable.

Eyewitnesses said that the woman could be in the age group of 25-30 and was wearing a black dress.
