Nikhil Siddhartha's Karthikeya 2 is having a dream run at the box office. The film had a limited release across the country on August 13. Since the first day first show, the film garnered unanimous positive talk from the audience. As a result, extra screens are being added in every nook and corner of the Telugu states as well as the Hindi-speaking belt.
According to the reports, Karthikeya's Hindi version was screened on only 60 screens on the first day. But the count has been increased to 300+ screens on the second day. Many viewers from North India requested the makers to increase shows in Hindi due to the extreme positive word of mouth. As a result, the shows are increased.
They are expected to increase further in the coming days as well. Karthikeya 2 is having a sensational run in the Telugu states. Trade reports stated that the film will cross the break-even figures by the end of today. Even in the USA, the film collected more than $450k in a few days of its release and is expected to join the million-dollar club in a few days.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, this film features Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead.
