HYDERABAD: Telangana BJP leader Bandi Sanjay on Friday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for allocating Rs. 850 crores under Central Road & Infrastructure Fund (CIRF) for vital road infrastructure development in Telangana. He also expressed gratitude for the allocation of Rs. 107 crores for the construction of crucial roads in his parliamentary constituency, Karimnagar.

In addition to thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the allocations, he also appreciated the cooperation of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy in securing these projects for the state, indicating their camaraderie. While thanking Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Bandi Sanjay attributed the delay in the project allocation to the erstwhile BRS Government. Bandi Sanjay hailed the current Congress government for their cooperation, amply indicating a secret pact, while criticising the BRS Government for their lack of cooperation during the KCR regime. However, reports indicate that it was the Centre that delayed processing the Central Road & Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) files.

Bandi Sanjay took to 'X' (formally Twitter) to thak Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He said, " With immense gratitude, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister @narendramodi and Minister @nitin_gadkari for allocating 850 crores under CIRF for vital road infrastructure development in Telangana. These initiatives reflect the collective commitment of the Central Government led by Narendra Modi in enhancing the infrastructure and connectivity, thereby catalysing development and prosperity for the constituents. Appreciate the cooperation of the Telangana government led by CM @revanth_anumula and Minister @KomatireddyKVR unlike the past BRS govt."

Crucial roads will be constructed in Karimnagar under Rs. 107 crores

  • Expansion of the single road from Ganneruvaram to Bejjanki to a double-lane stretch covering 23 kilometers, with an allocation of Rs. 32 crores.
  • Allocation of Rs. 25 crores for the construction of a road from Antakkapeta to Kotta Konda, spanning 10 kilometers.
  • Allocation of Rs. 25 crores for the construction of an 11.7-kilometer road from Malyala to Nookapalli.
  • Additionally, Rs. 25 crores have been allocated for the construction of an 11.5-kilometer road from Husnabad to Ramavaram.
