Bhatti, Sridhar Babu, Seethakka, Ponguleti take charge of office in Secretariat

HYDERABAD: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka took charge of his office at the State Secretariat in Hyderabad on Thursday. Bhatti occupied his office at an auspicious time of 8.21 am, amid chanting of Vedic hymns.
Earlier in the day, the Deputy Chief Minister performed the house warming ceremony at 5.30 am on Thursday before formally moving into Praja Bhavan.
Bhatti was allotted the official residence in Jyothiba Phule Praja Bhavan, which was formerly used as Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's (KCR's) residence during the previous BRS regime.
Meanwhile, Minister for IT, Industries & Legislative Affairs, Duddilla Sridhar Babu also assumed charge of his officer at the Secretariat, accompanied by his wife and senior IAS officer Shailaja Ramaiyer, amid chanting of Vedic hymns.
Other Ministers who took charge of their office in the Secretariat on Thursday are Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Women and Child Welfare Danasari Seethakka, Minister for Revenue and Housing, Information & Public Relations Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and Minister for Health Damodar Rajanarsimha. .
