Center of Excellence to analyse police performance: DGP Anjani Kumar

HYDERABAD: Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar held a high-level review meeting on Thursday to discuss how to improve the overall performance of the police system by technically analysing the performance of the functional verticals assigned to each level of police officers in the police department and encouraging them to change grading in statistics.

The organisational structure and functional verticals in place in the Telangana Police Department were reviewed in detail with officers from the Center of Excellence department in a meeting held this evening at the DGP's office.

Anjani Kumar proposed that the DGP's office's Center of Excellence review the effective performance of the duties assigned to each level of officers in the police department, particularly in police stations. The DGP asked officers from the Center of Excellence to examine the work of each and every police officer with the goal of maintaining peace and security, particularly instilling trust in the police department.
