Four youths of family drowned in Kotepally reservoir in Vikarabad

VIKARABAD: In a tragic end to a holiday swimming outing, four youths, all belonging to the same family, drowned in Kotepally reservoir of Vikarabad district on Monday.

According to reports, the four youths went for swimming in the reservoir to enjoy their Sankranti festival holiday time. However, they struggled to stay afloat and drowned to death.

The deceased were identified as Jagdish, Lokesh, Rajesh and Venkatesh, all residents of Manneguda village in Puduru mandal of Vikarabad district. Their bodies have been shifted to the Vikarabad Government Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The victims are said to be related to one another and belonged to the same family. The tragic deaths left their family members devastated.
