HYDERABAD: Telangana Government has hastily arranged certificate verification, causing significant inconvenience to Gurukula teacher aspirants with an extremely short 24-hour deadline.

Lack of planning by the Government impacted the process, leaving the candidates high and dry. People had to run heater shelter to get the certificates attested.

The recruitment board has begun filling the posts of Post Graduate Teachers before filling the posts of degree college lecturers and junior college lecturers.

Several female candidates, including pregnant women, were seen waiting in queue lines for long hours with small children for certificate verification due to confusion in Gurukula certificate verification in some parts of Telangana.

According to reports, all candidates were called on the same day, and biometrics alone took three to four hours. Several candidates were disappointed due to the difficulties they faced during the certificate verification. Some candidates even felt that the certificate verification process was more difficult than the main examination.

The candidates at the verification center alleged that they faced significant challenges due to insufficient planning for certificate verification. They also claimed that the verification schedule was announced without providing adequate time for certificate verification. Furthermore, they were upset that the verification of certificates for all subjects did not occur on a single day, citing difficulties encountered by female candidates

In an another incident, hundreds of Gurukul teachers in Telangana held a protest at Praja Bhavan demanding solutions to the problems faced by Gurukula teachers.

The Gurukal teachers demanded promotions and transfers that had been pending for a long time, while the protestors urged Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to respond.
