HYDERABAD: Cybercrime Police have made progress in the complaint filed by Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh who has been receiving threatening calls from an international number for quite some time. The police have identified Mohammed Qasim, a resident of Kuwait for the past 14 years, as the source of the calls.

According to the police, Qasim used to reside in Chandrayanagutta before moving to Dubai and eventually settling in Kuwait. Authorities have issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against Qasim, who is suspected to have used internet protocol to threaten Raja Singh.

The exact nature of the threats and Qasim's motive remain unclear at this stage. Police are investigating the matter further and attempting to establish clear communication with Kuwaiti authorities regarding Qasim's apprehension and potential extradition.
