MUNUGODE: Telangana IT and Industries Minister and TRS Party Working President K T Rama Rao on Monday said that the BJP's candidate for Munugode byelections, Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, was only contesting to gain power and money. He said that the BJP candidate had no admiration for the people of Munugode and that he was contesting only for his personal gain.

KTR said that Komatireddy earned his place in the elections and was standing from the BJP only through the Rs 18,000 crore contract given to him by the Centre. The Minister said that the TRS was working towards letting the people of Munugode and Telangana know about Komatireddy's selfish intentions.

The Minister also said that the BJP candidate had ignored Munugode when he was in power and that he would do the same again. He said that the MLA had spoken about contactors' bill in the Assembly and did not put forth any problems related to the constituency.

KTR said that Rajagopal Reddy would be bribing the voters with the Rs 18,000 crores given by the BJP to buy votes and would not care about them later.
