KTR's official Twitter account hacked

HYDERABAD: The official Twitter account of the Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao appears to have been hacked on Wednesday. The profile picture and Twitter handle name were changed to Cool Cats, and no tweets have been sent by the alleged hackers thus far.

Minister KTR, who is active on the microblogging platform and has 3.8 million followers on his personal Twitter handle, also has two additional Twitter handles: @KTRoffice and @MinisterKTR. The Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) and Information Technology are mentioned in the bio of KTR's official Twitter account.

The hacked account, however, has been renamed Cool Cats, with the Founders Cloncast mentioned in its Bio. In addition, the Cloncast's founders have original verified handle on Twitter called Cool Cats. Despite the fact that this appears to be a suspicious attack on the minister's handle, the hidden agenda for this attack is still unknown.
