Man dies of fits in Vemulawada Sri Rajarajeswara temple

RAJANNA SIRCILLA: In a tragic incident that happened at Vemulawada Sri Rajarajeswara Swami temple in Rajanna Sircilla district, a man died of fits and due to the absence of timely medical support.

A man by the name Sailu, who went for darshan along with his family on Monday, suffered a fits attack after coming out of the temple. The man collapsed in front of the EO office, after which the family members sought help from temple authorities and also called an ambulance.

However, the medical room at the temple was not opened for half an hour after he collapsed, neither did the ambulance arrive, leading to Sailu’s death. The bereaved family members carried his body back to their house in their car.
