HYDERABAD: BJP Telangana President Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday asserted that the Munugode Assembly by-election was indeed a holy war, taking place between the good and the bad. Addressing a gathering at an Athmiya Sammelanamin held in Nagole of Hyderabad, he once again targetted Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). He also made some sensational comments on the TRS, Congress and Communist parties in the wake of the ensuing by-election for Munugode Assembly constituency.

Bandi Sanjay asked the people to think before voting and asked them whether they wanted to be on the side of the party that would ensure people's welfare or the ones that would be subservient to KCR. He warned people that KCR would go back to the farmhouse if he won the by-election, ignoring the welfare of people.

Slamming KCR further, he said that BJP would expose the Telangana Chief Minister's corruption after coming to power and warned that they would not leave the companies that were funding the TRS in the elections. He wondered how KCR had amassed huge wealth. Bandi Sanjay alleged that the money for the Munugode by-election was being transported in the official vehicles of TRS Ministers and MLAs besides police vehicles and accused the social media wing of the TRS of spreading false propaganda against the BJP. He said that leaders in the BJP were working for the victory of the party despite not being given opportunities.

Not sparing the Congress and Communist parties, Bandi Sanjay made sensational comments saying that the TRS was finding an opportunity in Congress to dilute the BJP wave and CPI and CPM leaders had become bodyguards to the TRS.

BJPO OBC Morcha National President Dr. K. Lakshman, Party National Secretary Y. Satya Kumar, National Working Committee Member Etala Rajender and a host of other party leaders participated in the event.
