HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) said that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy did nothing but rob the State to pay his Congress bosses in Delhi so that they could spend the loot in the elections.

Tearing apart the false propaganda unleashed by the Congress-run social media, KTR said that the Congress Government was diverting people from the real issues with the help of issues such as ‘phone tapping’.

Addressing the Secunderabad Parliamentary Constituency cadre meeting here on Tuesday, he said that Revanth Reddy would join the BJP after the elections. “Congress will not cross the 40 mark in the Lok Sabha elections. Then Revanth &Co will join the BJP. I am sure because he never refuted my allegations,” KTR said.

KTR pointed out that the Congress Government in the state stopped issuing permissions to new real estate projects since it took over the reins from the BRS Government. He said that as a former MAUD Minister, he learned that Revanth Reddy’s Government issued no permissions to builders in 100 days and they were threatened.

“Money is collected by threatening realtors, sand mafia, crusher operators, rice millers, and builders. Rs 2,500 crore has been given to Congress high command to be spent in elections,” he said.

Ridiculing the Chief Minister for expecting a gold mine in the Secretariat and claiming that he runs with scissors, KTR said that only thieves keep scissors in their pockets. “This CM claims that he sports a garland of guts. Is he a butcher or what?” KTR said in a lighter vein.

He pointed out that Government sent water bills to 8 lakh households where as the BRS Government implemented the 20,000 litres free drinking water scheme to 60 lakh families. “What happened to the 200-unit free power scheme? Only owners are getting the benefit and not tenants,” he added.

Defeat Kishan Reddy as a message to Modi

KTR called upon voters of Secunderabad Lok Sabha Constituency to defeat BJP candidate and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy to send a strong message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Kishan Reddy’s defeat should be the first step in the revival of BRS,” he said.

“No Hindu in India has to worry as the PM, and President are Hindus. Hindus were also safe under Manmohan Singh a Sikh by religion. Now under the BJP, Hindustan is in danger, not Hindus,” KTR said.

Blaming the BJP for using ED and CBI to dishearten the opposition just before elections, he dared Kishan Reddy to depose before the Rouse Avenue Court any information he knew about the BRS MLC K Kavitha in Delhi Liquor Scam case and help in the prosecution.

The BRS working president said only regional parties such as DMK, TMC, BRS, and AAP could face BJP and Narendra Modi.

Speaker should disqualify Danam

Calling upon the Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad to disqualify turncoat MLA Danam Nagender the Congress candidate for the Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat, KTR said that the BRS move Supreme Court if required for action on Danam Nagender.

“Thigulla Padma Rao is an excellent choice by KCR. For the first time, BRS is going to win the Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat by defeating Kishan Reddy. Danam has nothing left as the people of Khairatabad are ready to teach him a lesson,” he said.

Calling Kishan Reddy ‘Kurkure Reddy’ for distributing the snack packets during Corona time, KTR said that while KCR inaugurated the Kaleshwaram project, the union minister inaugurated lifts at Seethaphalmandi Railway station. “KCR gave 36 flyovers to Hyderabad and the two flyovers undertaken by Kishan Reddy are moving at a snail’s pace,” he said.
