GAMBHIRAOPET:Revanth Reddy is candid in saying that gullible people believe cheaters and deceivers. We are at fault, we failed to take this to people. Yes, Revanth Reddy is an honest cheater,” said BRS working president KT Rama Rao addressing, cadre at Ghambiraopet of Rajanna Sircilla district on Sunday.

Demanding a GO releasing Rs 500 as a bonus on every quintal of paddy produced by the farmers in the State before the election code of conduct kicks in, KTR said that Congress came to power by cheating voters with the help of 420 fake promises. “If you are a man release ‘Rytu Bandhu’ and pensions right away,” he said.

Criticising Revanth Reddy for trying to impress upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent visit to the State, KTR said that Revanth Reddy had an entirely different point of view on his relationship with the BJP.

“Revanth Reddy will backstab the Congress and join the BJP immediately after Lok Sabha elections. While Rahul Gandhi hates Narendra Modi to the core, Revanth calls him ‘Big Brother,” KTR observed, adding that the Telangana Congress had half of its blood from BJP.

Calling upon the Cadre in Rajanna Sircilla district to understand the importance of Kaleshwaram for the district, KTR said that K Chandrashekar Rao struggled to fill up the Upper Manair dam through Kaleshwaram to save the ayacut in Sircilla.

Earlier in a similar meeting at Kamareddy, KTR said that the people of Telangana realised the mistake they made in electing the Congress. “Farmers are facing the pre-bifurcation days. Crops have dried up and power cuts are back. Women and the poor also have realised that they were cheated by the Congress,” KTR said. Reminding the people of the promise made by Revanth Reddy that his Government would implement crop loan waiver by December 9, 2023, KTR warned the CM of backlash by the farmers.

Accusing Revanth Reddy of churning out fake promises, KTR wanted to know when the Government would release Rs 2,500 for women, Rs 4,000 pension, and implement Mahalakshmi in toto. He called upon the cadre to wait patiently till March 17 and start demanding Revanth Reddy's Government for implementation of 420 promises and six guarantees.

Compensation of Rs 10,000 per acre

Demanding a compensation of Rs 10,000 per acre to each farmer wherever the standing crops were dried up due to lack of irrigation, KTR said that 2 TMC of water could be lifted with the help of Kaleshwaram to save the farmers by undertaking repairs to Medigadda on war footing.

“This is a drought induced by the inefficient Congress. They blame everything on KCR. Yes, I am the proud son of KCR. Why did Congress never mention Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Damodar Raj Narsimha who have a legacy of a political dynasty,” the BRS working president pointed out.
