HYDERABAD: The second day of Telangana Legislative Assembly session commenced on Monday. The monsoon session officially began at 10 a.m. on September 6,2022 before being adjourned till Monday (September 12).

The House expressed condolences and remembered former Paleru MLA Bhimapaka Bhupathi Rao, who died recently. The state government then introduced seven bills in the House. Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy rejected adjournment motions pressed by the opposition members.

Telangana Minister for Fisheries Talasani Srinivas Yadav, introduced the GST Amendment Bill in the House on behalf of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Telangana IT & MAUD Minister K T Rama Rao introduced the Azamabad Industrial Area Act Amendment Bill and the Telangana Municipal Laws Amendment Bill. The Telangana Public Employment Act Amendment Bill was introduced in the House by Finance and Health Minister Harish Rao while the Telangana Motor Vehicle Tax Act Amendment Bill was introduced by Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar. The Joint Recruitment Board Bill was introduced into the House by State Minister of Education Sabitha Indra Reddy and the Forest University Bill was introduced into the House by State Minister of Forests Indrakaran Reddy.
