Telangana Speaker turns kid, plays marbles in Banswada

BANSWADA: No matter who you are and of what age, there is a kid inside every person, they say. Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy proved that right on Sunday when he shrugged off protocol and played marbles with a few children in his constituency.

Srinivasa Reddy was on a tour of Nasrullabada mandal within his Banswada Assembly constituency. When he visited Basvayipalli, he found a few children lost in their world of playing marbles, unmindful of the presence of a VIP in their neighbourhood. This caught the eye of the Speaker who immediately joined the kids' play.

Even as Srinivasa Reddy was engrossed in the game, a few of his followers captured the rare spectacle of a Speaker playing marbles with children.
