KHAMMAM: Chief Ministers and politicians from various States of India – Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi, Bhagwat Mann of Punjab, CPI Leader D Raja, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Pinarayi Vijayan of Kerala, were overwhelmed with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) public meeting at Khammam and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

While all of them were awestruck by the number of people present at the meeting, they said that such was the power of KCR and all who wanted to fight the anti-people NDA government.

The Ministers, who came to Hyderabad on Wednesday morning, discussed developmental schemes with KCR, while he put forth the agenda of the newly formed BRS party. It seemed as though the Ministers took into consideration the concept of becoming a strong opposition to the BJP-led Central Government and bringing development to the country.

Saying that a ‘Mohalla Clinic’ scheme of Delhi was adapted and introduced as ‘Basti Dawakhana’ scheme in Telangana by KCR, the Aam Aadmi Party Chief Kejriwal said that his visit to Khammam was indeed a learning experience for him. He said that initiatives like the Integrated District Office Complex (IDOC), like one which was inaugurated in Khammam, would be helpful for places like Delhi and Punjab too.

All the five ministers called their visit to Khammam a learning experience, where they learnt the power of the people. They said that the people now realised the bad governance of Narendra Modi and they were looking for a strong opposition party, hinting that the BRS would fit right in that role.

KCR’s agenda of expanding the Telangana model of development in India, his farmer-friendly schemes, irrigation and drinking water models and most importantly nationalisation, through the Bharat Rashtra Samithi was also supported by the ministers.
