HYDERABAD: Tension prevailed at the house of BJP MP from Nizamabad Dharmapuri Aravind in Banjara Hills after irate activists of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) staged a protest and ransacked the premises on Friday. The TRS activists were protesting against the BJP MP's alleged uncourteous comments against TRS MLC and KCR's daughter K Kavitha. Reacting strongly, Kavitha too warned of serious consequences if Arvind continued to indulge in mud-slinging against her.

A large number of TRS activists descended on the residence of the Nizamabad MP in the posh Banjara Hills area and began raising slogans against the MP for claiming that Kavitha was heading to the Congress party. They even burned an effigy of the controversial BJP leader and, as tempers ran high, a few of them even ransacked the premises, damaging the furniture there.

Even as the partymen vented their anger by their protest, MLA K Kavitha herself came before the media and issued a stern warning to Dharmapuri Aravind. Asking him to maintain dignity in politics, she warned him that he would be treated with footwear in full public glare in Nizamabad. She vowed that she and her partymen would not keep quiet anymore to this kind of mischief being played by the BJP MP.
