TRS MLAs' poaching case: ACB court grants bail to Ramachandra Bharathi, Nandu Kumar

HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau(ACB) court on Wednesday granted bail to Ramachandra Bharathi, Nandu Kumar and asked to submit a personal bond for Rs 3 lakh each, in TRS MLA poaching case.

Nanda Kumar, who was charged in a different case at the Banjara Hills police station, was also granted bail by the third ACMM Court upon the payment of Rs 20,000 in sureties.

Ramchandra Bharati, Nandakumar, and Simhayaji, the three accused, were arrested on October 26 for allegedly attempting to bribe four TRS MLAs with amounts ranging from Rs 50 crore to Rs 100 crore to topple the TRS government.

The accused's bail petitions were denied by ACB court on November 14. However, in an order issued on November 21, the Supreme Court requested that the court consider the petitioners' bail petitions as soon as possible.
