HYDERABAD: Since the beginning of the Modi administration eight years ago, democratically elected governments have been toppled in nine states, and BJP governments have been unethically formed in those states, said TRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Thursday.

On Thursday, she told the media at her residence in Hyderabad "Every child in the country knows the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrives before Prime Minister Narendra Modi in poll-bound states." She went on to say that this had happened in Telangana.

"Since Telangana has elections next year and ED has already been in the state before Prime Minister Modi, it is quite clear that the BJP party is playing cheap tricks. We have welcomed them and will co-operate with them", she added.

MLC Kavitha said, "Even if Prime Minister Modi put us behind bars, we will continue to represent the interests of the people and expose the failures of the BJP. Telangana's TRS government is functioning effectively in the state. We have exposed their conspiracy to topple state govt and Telangana's people have witnessed it".

Kavitha urged Prime Minister Modi to reconsider his actions. Kavitha clarified that she is not afraid about being harassed by ED cases.

Officials from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigating the Delhi liquor scam have named the ruling TRS party MLC K. Kavitha, the daughter of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, in the remand report submitted by the Central investigation agency following the arrest of one of the accused, Amit Arora.

A large number of TRS activists and supporters reached Kavita's residence on Thursday morning after her name was allegedly mentioned in the remand report of the alleged Delhi Liquor Scam.
