HYDERABAD: Ever since the BJP candidate for the Munugode by-election Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy switched his loyalty to the Bharatiya Janata Party, he is facing severe humiliation from the TRS and the Congress as they launched a campaign of he allegedly receiving a contract of Rs. 18,000 crore project for his company as part of a quid pro quo arrangement.

In a latest development, wall posters have come up everywhere in Munugode constituency, which is surely going to be a major embarrassment to Rajgopal Reddy and BJP. The poster depicts a design akin to 'Phone Pe' app where it was printed 'Contract Pe' (meaning obliquely contract pay). The wall poster reads Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy received a contract of Rs. 18,000 Crore from BJP and "BJP18THOUSANDCRORES."

The idea seems to have been drawn from the Karnataka campaign of Pay CM, where the opposition parties cornered Chief Minister Bommai by displaying posters which indicated Pay commissions alleging that the latter is demanding commissions.

The TRS is not leaving any stone unturned to corner the Rajgopal Reddy in particular and the BJP in general.

Earlier, the TRS leaders complained to the Election Commission seeking disqualification of Rajgopal Reddy for admitting that he had resorted to the quid pro quo deal to join BJP.

However, Rajagopal Reddy is facing a bitter experience with the alleged quid pro quo campaign.
