Tollywood Shoots to resume soon; Key Decisions Made

Since Tollywood producers decided to stop the film shootings, the actors and filmmakers are waiting to get back to work. It's been 19 days since the shootings were stopped. Now, the producers have taken some key decisions to revive the theatrical business.

Telugu Film Producers union has decided not to premiere a film on the OTT platform within 8 weeks of its theatrical release. The decision is jointly taken by the Telugu Film Producers Council and the Active Telugu Producers Guild.

At the same time, the producers held discussions with the exhibitors and chalked out a plan to revise the ticket prices in the state, which would be a win-win situation for all parties involved.

Also, the producers decided to not pay remunerations to the actors on a per daily basis anymore. The final round of meetings is underway, and more clarity on everything will be out in the next few days.

Some of the producers have received an indication that the shoots will be resumed soon and they have begun arrangements for the resumption of shoots.
