MUNUGODE: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Wednesday welcomed the power transition in Bihar.

"I believe that this is a positive change for the whole nation because the era of backdoor politics has been countered well by Nitish Kumar. I appreciate the effort he made. He stood behind the to uphold the verdict given by people of Bihar," said MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha here in her reaction to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ending JD(U) alliance with the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and swearing in again as Chief Minister with the support of RJD.

She said that the BJP's backdoor politics had to be stopped and Bihar had started it. She also said that it was a 'ghar ka mamla' (household's matter) as to what actually happened in Bihar.

Nitish Kumar on Wednesday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying "he won in 2014 but should now worry about 2024." He also asserted that the new Government in Bihar would run well. He said that the JD(U) had collectively decided to exit the alliance with the BJP. "The party made the decision together (to leave BJP)…whether I will stay or not (till 2024)…they can say what they want."
