PATNA: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), who is on a visit to Bihar, met Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi here on Wednesday.
After addressing a joint press conference with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he drove straight to Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav's house to meet his father Lalu Prasad Yadav. KCR, on this occasion, interacted with the RJD chief and enquired about his health and well-being. Last month, Lalu Prasad suffered a minor fracture after a fall on the staircase at his residence. He is currently resting and recuperating at his son's house.
The RJD supremo, incidentally, was one of the national leaders who had extended their support to the Telangana cause at the height of the separate statehood movement, spearheaded by KCR.
A former chief minister of Bihar herself, Rabri Devi felicitated KCR on this occasion.
