Talasani Srinivas Yadav felicitates new DGP Anjani Kumar

HYDERABAD: Telangana Minister of Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav called on the newly appointed Director General of Police Anjani Kumar on Thursday. The DGP has earlier taken part in the Ayyappa Swamy puja organized by the Minister’s family. The Minister congratulated the DGP on his elevation to the top position and felicitated him with a shawl.

Anjani Kumar, an IPS officer of the 1990 batch, took charge as the new DGP of Telangana following the retirement of M Mahendar Reddy. He had earlier held several important positions including Commissioner of Police of Hyderabad, DG ACB, Additional DGP.
