Female students at Osmania University protest water scarcity

HYDERABAD: Several female students at Osmania University (OU)https://youtu.be/kQnhEZlCi8Q held protests on Sunday, demanding proper drinking water facilities on the campus. Reports indicate that the students protested against the prevailing water scarcity.

The students alleged that the university administration failed to provide fresh water during the summer season. They questioned how one water tanker could suffice for 1,000 students, especially considering the various issues females face.

According to reports, the students have been experiencing water scarcity for the past 15 days. The students also alleged that the university administration failed in addressing their grievances.
