MAHBUBNAGAR: Former Chief Minister and BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) who took pride in making Hyderabad a power island and ensured round-the-clock quality power for all sectors tasted power cuts while having lunch in Mahbubnagar on Saturday.

KCR who was on ‘Poru Baata Bus Yatra’ and camping at Mahbubnagar was having lunch with Lok Sabha candidate Manne Srinivas Reddy and others at the residence of former Minister Srinivas Goud. During the short span of one hour, the former CM noticed that power had gone two times.

“Extraordinary things are happening in Telangana these days. The Chief Minister reiterates that there are no power outages. Former BRS MLAs are saying that power outages are frequent,” KCR said on X. Inability to manage power supply to match the demand was evident from the frequent power breaks. “People of the State and intellectuals should think,” KCR said.
