Assembly releases separate notifications for MLC elections, polling on January 29

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Legislative Assembly on Thursday issued two separate notifications for the election of two MLC seats under the MLAs quota.

As per the notification, nominations will be received from January 11, 2024, till January 18, 2024. Elections will be held on January 29 and results will be declared on the same day.

Elections to the two MLC seats were necessitated with BRS MLCs Kadiam Srihari and Padi Kaushik Reddy resigning from the Council after they were elected MLAs in the recent Assembly polls.
