Multiple views were expressed there by many, but all of them in unison pledged their support to me and match their steps with me in my journey whatever his decision could be. “I thank all of of them from the bottom of my heart. Keeping the larger interests of Telangana, with a view to protecting the secular interests of the nation, and uplift of the downtrodden sections and Bahujans of the society, I shall be joining the Bharat Rashtra Samithi in the presence of its supremo and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. I will always keep the conscience of Bahujan leaders and realise their dreams and aspirations. Please wholeheartedly bless me.”

However, BSP supremo Mayawati who had approved of it initially fell prey to the designs of the BJP and dissuaded him to withdraw.

Dr Praveen Kumar, however, stuck to his commitment and stayed glued to the decision to go ahead and strengthen the hands of KCR.
